Day 0 The adventure begins

The start of the day wasn't a good one, problems with trailer lights and then with roof bars which considering we had 3 sets of roof bars and 10 different ways of mounting a bicycle to a car and still we struggled to mount a bicycle on the car

However after 3 trips to halfords we succeded

happy bunnys once again.....

next stop we had to sort out the trailer lights, for this we stopped off at a place that Guy found online.

There was much shaking of heads and many intakes of breath.......2 1/2 hours later....

we were on the road

 

This late start meant that we wouldn't be able to get down to cornwall until late in the evening, this would mean an early start the next day to start from Land's end. Some of the other guys decided it would be easier to start on friday to knock off 40 miles from saturday, as all the literature says 9 days we thought it prudent that some of us stick to the 9 days

Tim also had a torrid time making it to the start at the mercy of the train network he eventually made it to cornwall by taxi........
